ThisNext gains more funding

One of my favourite sites is ThisNext. The site essentially works on creating a community of social shoppers who recommend products that they deem to be of high quality. I have bought many things based on recommendations here in particular books on marketing such as Brand Hijack and also the Alan Fletcher book The Art of Looking Sideways. Both have been intriguing reading.

Anyway, Mashable reports that ThisNext have gained funding through venture capital which is great news. Hopefully this means they will be able to pursue more active marketing exploits to grow the site even further and recruit a newer user base.
