An interesting technology from Digg which has been in development on their site for awhile but was only released to the public for viewing and playing. Described as a custom project by Digg in the Digg Blog, it shows the potential of restructuring the way typical news feeds are presented. My previous favourite on Digg was Swarm but I think that Arc might just top it.
Now that Digg have signed a contract with Microsoft to be its only advertising provider/server, it will be interesting to see how Digg Labs develop. Personally I would think that many advertisers (the forward thinking ones) will be looking to work with Digg Labs to develop relevant technology to their products. For example, using Digg Labs to track particular stories about Philips and create a construct around these.
